took a picture with my camera from a movie on my laptop. printed it out in black and white. used colored pencils and colored it in like a 4 year old. scanned it back to jpeg. loaded back to pc and messed up in Gimp. i think i will try more of this. the process has potential. when one cannot draw or paint, thievery and tricks will do just fine. original shot in previous post. could have done a better job with his lips. c'est la vie.

got too lazy to finish Roger and John, so only 2 of the 4 kids are alright. they were the best 2 anyway.

last night i had a dream where i woke up on a tree branch outside my bedroom window. i was very small and it was night time. when i first opened my eyes, all i could see was blinding, white fog. eyes coming into focus, i realized that all the tree branches were covered in snow. the bright light turned out to be the moonlight shining on the snow. i laid there for a minute, totally in awe. all the twisted, silver-white, glitter flashing off the branches. gorgeous. then i remember that i felt cold and wet because i was covered in snow too, so i went inside. back to sleep.

thinking about it later, i guess i was literally out on a limb. i wasn't scared but i didn't want to stay there either.

Maybe this is how we look when we leave this world and go floating up to the heavens, with all the other people who are leaving at the same time. Silver-white shiny metallic bubbles. Big bubbles are old souls. Little bubbles still have work to do. The glowing, colored ones are fully evolved and can roam about as they choose. They are free now

"Francesco Petrarca (July 20, 1304 – July 19, 1374), known in English as Petrarch, was an Italian scholar, poet and one of the earliest Renaissance humanists. Petrarch is often called the "Father of Humanism"

On April 6, 1327, Good Friday, after Petrarch gave up his vocation as a priest, the sight of a woman called "Laura" in the church of Sainte-Claire d'Avignon awoke in him a lasting passion, celebrated in the Rime sparse ("Scattered rhymes"). Later, Renaissance poets who copied Petrarch's style named this collection of 366 poems Il Canzoniere ("Song Book").

Laura is unreachable – the few physical descriptions are vague, almost impalpable as the love he pines for, and such is perhaps the power of his verse, which lives off the melodies it evokes against the fading, diaphanous image that is no more consistent than a ghost . Who Laura was and even if she really existed is a bit of a mystery."
